Corel VideoStudio Pro Repack + [Serial Key]

I received a copy of VideoStudio Pro 10 a few weeks ago and am having problems with the interface. It ran OK on my old system – XP Professional SP3, 2GB RAM and an nVidia 4500 Go. When I opened it in SP3 it recognized the Intel video card. After the upgrades to Vista and especially SP4 it doesn’t see the video card anymore and all I get is a black screen. For some reason I can only get Audio to work by enabling the Intel video card which muddies the sound quality.
Video and slider controls work. I can also change video modes if I tell it to do so. I’m concerned about the loss of video because I often work with a JVC Grasshopper that sends video to the big screen. The Grasshopper seems to be recognized but I can’t get any kind of signal out of it and all of the controls on my new video card are greyed out. I’ve tried using the test pattern to see if I can get video but that doesn’t work either. A similar program will read the Grasshopper but doesn’t send out any signal to the big screen. I’ve tried using my camcorder to see if I can create a video file to get this to work. I’d also like to get this working on my Win 7 but so far I haven’t been able to do that either. I’m really starting to run out of options. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

VideoStudio is a pretty decent AVI editor. I have to admit, it still has serious limitations, but its a great big step up from the ill-fated VideoStudio 2005 that most people will remember, but this is a real step up. Its divided into the prosumer (a step up from XL/XL2) and professional version. Although they’ve dropped the XL version, its not the worst thing in the world. Like most video editing software, if youve not used it before, you’re going to spend some time getting to grips with it. Watch tutorials, read the manuals, and try to use the tools a few minutes at a time before you actually start editing.

One of the most annoying issues I have with video editors is that the manuals are absolutely useless. Ive been through my fair share of manuals in the last couple of years, some written in 1992, and some in 2005 or 2006. Some are written by someone who had never even used the software (often a programmer) and other software designers have a habit of not using the right terms. Well to make matters worse, some of the same software designers now have written the manuals for the newest versions of the software. Theyve certainly tried to make the manuals better, but even now, it really is hard to understand exactly what each button does. This is probably the hardest thing to get your head around, but even once you get the hang of it, youll quickly find that it doesnt quite do what you want. For example, if you want to chop something, you would think that “lengthwise crop” would work. However, it will actually crop regardless of which direction you are cropping. There is no word for “clipping”, meaning it will simply cut any part of the video which is outside the selection area. New functions are being added all the time, but these are frequently buggy, and sometimes dont work at all. Ive certainly learned the hard way now, and Ive been burned more times than I can remember.

As with previous versions, VideoStudio gives you a full suite of tools with a clean, stylish, and simple user interface. The new menu layout makes it easier to see the full set of features available. It also doesn’t leave much room for clutter. A new dropdown menu is available for preset and automation effects for adjusting exposure, brightness, and contrast. With this new tool, you can decide which effect is right for which purpose. This is a definite improvement.

The timeline shows a variety of features, including a neat view of the finished project and a playback window with the keyframes and a timeline that you can adjust and scrub through to select where to start playback and end it. There’s also a full set of special effects and transitions. And no matter which mode you use, you can drop in custom audio from the Sound module, add voiceover, and add speech timing overlays. These are superimposed in a helpful snapshot popover, and if you need to edit the timing, you can do so with the new Timing Editor.

You can import still and animated photos and videos. Your resulting project can include audio, as well as video up to 4K. The program gives you access to all the other services, with an area available for automated online broadcasts. The included Camera Uploader can upload photos and videos to Facebook and Instagram.

Command Line Interface – The new command line interface is less cluttered and offers more options. You can open multiple instances of programs on your desktop, and from the one application window, you can launch multiple command-line applications.

Audio Queues – Similar to ProTools, VideoStudio Pro features multi-track recording. With video editor, you can choose to record one or more clips at once, while other audio tracks are not selected in the process. The new Audio Queues system allows you to select which tracks to record, when to record them, and when to terminate the recording process.

Aspect Ratio – In previous versions, VideoStudio Pro had a poor aspect ratio feature, which meant that the program would not allow you to edit video in 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratios.

In 2017, the program includes a new Aspect Ratio Setting feature. You can simply toggle the aspect ratio setting on and off, and the program will recognize any aspect ratio videos you have. This feature is incredibly handy and one of the best improvements to the product in a long time.

I was a little disheartened by the lack of video monitoring tools in previous versions of VideoStudio Pro. The most useful tool, the timeline view for recording clips, is the only one on the tool bar. The others are mere placeholders for editing control.

VideoStudio has arrived on the market since the start of the new millennium, and is the multimedia tool for any filmmaker looking for a powerful, yet easy to use and affordable all-in-one, package that’s compatible with everything and everyone. And with a MSRP under $300, the price of the program seems all too dear. However, for less than what some would consider the price of some major engineering projects, VideoStudio is one hell of a big bargain, and one that might not warrant the high cost. VideoStudio is an all-in-one package with that includes the following: Video Editor, Renderer, DVD Author, Audio Editor, and Subtitle Editor.

For every feature in the program where the ease of use gets in the way, there is another where the ease of use is deeply appreciated. The Mask Creator tool is clean, effective, and a breeze to use. Its extremely easy to select an area of your clip where you would like to apply a mask and tell the program to automatically detect this area as it moves through the frame. If the automatic tool misses your desired area you can easily go back and clean up the mask with pen tools, selection tools, and erasers. Youll be hard-pressed to find an easier masking tool to use than Corels.

My goal is for you to walk away from this VideoStudio review with a sense of whether or not youre the kind of user who will benefit from purchasing VideoStudio, and that youll feel as though you were not sold anything in the process. I have not received any payment or requests from Corel to create this review, and have no reason to deliver anything but my complete and honest opinion about the product. My goal is to highlight the programs strengths and weaknesses and outline exactly who this software is best suited to with no strings attached.

If the timeline is a miss, this toolbar is a massive hit. Clicking on an element of this toolbar brings up a new window in the box of the upper right of the screen where effects, titles, and transitions can be applied effortlessly to your project. My favorite part of these menus is the live previews of the effects, which clearly communicate to you what the effect will look like before you apply it to your video. Other video editors require lots of testing and poking around to find the effect youre looking for. Not so with VideoStudio.

The Tutorials section is where you can learn all the basics. I was very impressed by both the effectiveness and breadth of the tutorials provided here. I never had to Google how to perform a single task while using VideoStudio, which is something I cant say for any other video editor Ive used.
