Hello, I just installed Photoscape X Pro and I was wondering how I can stack 10 or so images on each other. Also, can I add an overall brightness/whiteness filter to all 10 or so images? Thanks!

1. Yes, you can stack multiple images with different exposures in PhotoScape X but you will need to upgrade to the PRO version to do that. This setting is called HDR and you can access it under the Viewer tab. Just select the 3 images that you want to be stacked, right-click on one of the images, click on Photo Merge and then click on Merge To HDR. Then youll need to click on the Merge button and then Save.

I love Photoscape – there is now a free version. Not the UI though – that’s so dated it’s painful. But it’s functionality and features are all still there and IMO the best thing about Photoscape, since it’s been around a long time. So this is a very useful update.

I am very happy with PhotoScape X – I purchased the latest update with the $7.99 one time payment option. It’s as good as it was (better, I think) a few years ago and only now are starting to really hit the markets.

I’m so glad I stumbled onto Photoscape X. I was terrified to try it but gave it a go anyway. I was impressed from day 1. I never miss it now and use it constantly. The easy to use interface is particularly good for beginners and only I would say is limited in what it can do. I would love to see the same creator options in order to change the background/thumbnail size though. Also it would be great to be able to add a copyright notice to the thumbnail to the finished edited product.

I just got my new PhotoScape X Pro Version downloaded today. This is an excellent program with many features of one that pays for itself in just about 3 short days. Its easy to learn and very user friendly if you are familiar with the PhotoShop or Gimp.
My favorite feature is the ability to remove unwanted elements (people, shrubbery, cars) by using the Magic Eraser tool. It is so easy to do and yet, I can see the difference in my digital photos. The only caution I would give the novice PhotoScape X user is that once you learn it, the program allows you to duplicate a layer and put it on top of another layer. The reason for doing this is that the layers feature is a powerful tool. For instance, you can use a layer to create a new background or the “canvas” for another layer. In many cases, these layers are the best way to make changes to your images.
As you can guess, there is a lot to learn. A download of the PhotoScape X Pro book will give you an inside look at the tools and the functions of the program.
An initial set up, including the ability to print to a hard copy album, will cost around $85. There are many ways to save money and we would be glad to assist you. You can print yourself, send to a photo printer or drop your photos off at the drug store.
